Custom Airboats

Our standard Gale Marine Custom Airboat hull is made with 3/16″ 5086 aluminum.  This makes for an extremely durable hull along with 7-11 longitudinal stringers, depending on boat size.  We use 3/8″ UHMW polymer on bottom and sides of our boats to absorb impact from the abuse we see on airboats, especially those used on ice.

We have partnered with Levitator Engines, as they provide the highest quality, longest-lasting, and top-performing marine engines available, along with a 3 year/ 200 hr warranty.  If your custom application or desire exceeds the horsepower available through Levitator, we’ve also partnered with Wegner Automotive | The Industry Leader In LS and LT Engines for high horsepower custom builds. Depending on your airboating needs, we would be happy to assist in choosing the right engine, Century Drive Systems Gear Box or Belt Drive, and Whirlwind Propeller combination.

Gale Marine is home of the area’s finest custom airboats.  We have proudly put our name on our products since 2012.
